Things to do in the area

Horseback riding on the beach or in the jungle. Over 300 species of birds. Day excursions to the village of Tequila, or snorkeling in the Marietas Islands. We are truly in the middle of everything.

Beach day, surf, whale watching tours, mountain bike, horseback riding tours to waterfalls in the jungle, visit local crafts markets, cooking lessons, great massages and dinners in cure local towns with plenty of restaurant options. We suggest a 4x4 or car with good ground clearance, the roads can get a little rough in the rainy season. Ask us about Gecko in Bucerias, if you don’t already know them, for car and surfboard rentals. Taxis run to San Pancho.

A great private beach is a 15 minute walk downhill. Jaime Acosta runs a family resort that caters to larger retreats, and magical weddings. It’s also an amazing boutique hotel. Our guests are welcome and lunch/and or dinner can be booked for your day at the playa.

Riviera Nayarit enjoys delicious temperatures in the high 70ies to low 90ies year round, gorgeous nature and protected wildlife. Dotted along the coast north of Puerto Vallarta are several charming beach towns, Punta de Mita with its elegant golf courses, Sayulita with its free spirited surfer nightlife, San Pancho with the most beautiful sunset beach. There are golf courses, a polo field, great surfing to both the north Ola Lola and the south Sayulita and La Lancha.
